Debut novel from this author, start of a trilogy.The setting is quite good, not the usual fantasy fare (although it has been done before).
Tells the tale of Jorg, and the people in his ragtag band as he tries to determine if he is being used like a playing piece in someone else's game.
Should appeal to fans of the Black Company series (Glenn Cook)
