The second book set in the world of Taltos, based on Reaper Miniatures Warlord game.

As with the first (Warlord Rising), it's a good, standard fantasy novel, so you don't need to be familiar with the game to enjoy the novel.

A very good conclusion to the story, all the loose ends are tied up. Plenty of action and twists to keep you going to the end.

Again, the Kindle edition suffers for a lack of formatting. Several short sentences seem to get split over three lines, also every other (physical) page number seems to have been hard coded into the text, in a font about four times larger than the main story, which can be distracting.
