A collection of 3 short stories from the '70s, they seem to be set in the early to mid 2000's.Everybody has all their details in the Central Data Bank, monitoring their movements, purchases, career (so far, so prescient).
One of the developers ensured his details weren't entered, and has since been operating under the radar. A friend from the worlds 2nd largest detective agency calls upon this ability when he needs tougher jobs investigated.
The stories are a mixed bunch, with some 70s style psycho-babble tossed around, making them a bit wordy, but they hold up well enough.
