Affinity Bridge
Introducing Sir Maurice Newbury, agent of the Queen, and Victoria Hobbes his able assistant as they start by helping Scotland Yard investigate a mysterious blue glowing (and possibly ghostly) policeman, revenants carrying a zombie like plague through the slums, and the mysterious crash of an airship.This VSF/Steampunk yarn rattles along at a good pace, with just the right amount of characters that are well developed through the story. Has the usual paraphernalia that goes with this genre: airships, lots of clockwork and steam driven devices,mad scientists but it doesn't detract from the several threads going on.
