Book 3 of a series, although it made sense without having read the other two books.The Oathsworn are a group of Vikings under their leader Orm Bearslayer. They have the secret of the largest hoard of treasure known, but others seek it from them as well.
They end up trekking across the Russian steppes to go and find it while tracking down others from their group.
Well written characters, a weaving of Norse mythology and their gods, and the bond that keeps them going when one of their own needs them make this an exciting read.
