Demon Gates
Young boy, never knew his mother, raised by father, sees dad and village wiped out then ends up on a quest as he escapes.Pretty routine fantasy, bit slow in places, fairly predictable throughout.
For all that, the characters are written well and the majority of it goes along at a good pace.
Good for filling the time on a commute.
