As the civil war rages across the Inner Sphere, the Jade Falcons start their own land grab as a means of testing new troops.

Davion & Steiner forces have to work together to block this. The Lyrans send Adam Steiner and Victor Davion send Archer Christifori.

There were lots of familiar "faces" in this book, both from the Inner Sphere and the Clans, and it was good to see how they interacted.

As usual, the Steiner forces were blinded by their hatred/distrust of anything Davion to their disadvantage, and both forces seemed to get their share of lucky breaks against the Flacons.

Lots of mech action, nothing too unexpected in terms of how people act/react and the civil war is still going on...
