Confession of Brother Haluin, The (Chronicles of Brother Cadfael #15)
While working to clear snow from the abbey roof, Brother Haluin falls and is almost certain to die.He makes a confession to Cadfael and the abbey father. Miraculously, he survives and decides to make a journey of penance.
Cadfael goes along to help, and they are soon drawn into a murder in one of the towns.
This was slow to get started, and some parts could be guessed but it came to a satisfying conclusion.
