The Serpent Tower
Second book in the Terrarch Chronicles series.A smaller group of main characters than book 1, it still reads like a cross between a Warhammer Fantasy novel (where William King got started) and Glen Cook's "Black Company" series.
The story moves along at a good pace and the characters are well written, although only a few get a decent amount of page time.
