Part of Oprey's Men-at-Arms series. Takes a look at the history, organisation, weapons and armour of the three main European powers up to 1066.Due to the usual Osprey format this is a rather concise book, and splitting it into three nationalities means the descriptions are rather brief.
A good start to get an overview of how they all tie-in with each other, there are also separate books in other Osprey series looking at each group in more detail.
