Legends of the Dragonrealm

FIREDRAKE
During the Turning Wars, the humans and elves fought against the ruling Dragon factions. It was Nathan Bedlam who helped turn the tide, but at his own expense.
Years later, his grandson Cabe finds out about his heritage and as the Dragon Kings become aware of him, they set out to kill him.
As his powers grow, he makes friends and starts taking the attack to the Dragons.
ICE DRAGON
Alliances are formed between Cabe and his friends and some of the dragons as one of them attempts to cast a spell to ensure that they stay at the top of the chain.
WOLFHELM
The Gryphon, a friend of Cabe's with a mysterious past sets off to his homeland. Lots of enemies await him and he has to work his way around them as fragments of his past come back to him.
All the books are decent reads, the last one mainly just features the Gryphon and a few close friends, but the majority of people from books 1 and 2 are missing from it.
Richard Knaak manages to keep the action going, and it's helped by the fact that all the books only feature a small main group of characters.
It can seem like a bit of hard work at times, but that may just be down to this omnibus edition rather than if they were read as three separate books.
