Good action novel set in the Warhammer 40K universe.Talos is a member of the Night Lords (Chaos Space Marines), prone to glimpses of the future.
The company is dwindling in numbers and seems to lose people in every encounter. Talos tries to keep his squad together.
From finding a new navigator, to rousing a dreadnought, he takes centre stage much to his overlords disgust.
Various attempts to prevent him taking any more credit start to show the cracks within the Night Lords.
In between, there is plenty of fighting, actually making a space battle interesting for once as well as pitting them against the Emperor's forces and their own Warmaster.
Would really like to know if there is a sequel to this (the epilogue hinted at one).
