Brian's Book Blog

A mysterious group takes people with extended powers and attempts to forge them into their own private army.
As some of them are rescued, they turn into hunters of operatives of the other side.
Flashbacks explain how they were selected, and focuses on a few main characters, specifically Olesya, one of the Russian subjects.

Switching between then and current operations now, separate groups are following other operatives that seem to be tied to a new organisation.

Lots of action, the ending was open ended and will lead into a sequel.
Some of the characters are also in Nathan Farrugia's book The Chameleon Vector, although because of the flashbacks, it's difficult to say if this is set before or after events in that book.
